Kingshott cements his position at the top of the Western Australian Speedcar rank with his 11th concessive win last night t the general Firecracker Series finale .Kingshott continues to be the measure that other are compared with .
The Kingshott wins last night was not enough to claim the overall General Fire cracker Series trophy. Sitting in the wings as the heir apparent is 17years old Kaiden Manders his performances over the entire Firecracker series was rewarded with the overall trophy.

Ryan Farrell continues to pay back the Diamond Bay Motorsports Tem with another resounding win. Since return to the sport Farrell has put the spark back into his career and must be one of the most feared yet respected Sprintcar driver riding the cushion .Last night another win and another step up in the National Sprintcar rankings .During Farrell’s well documented problems Talking Speedway was one of his most vocal critics .We now applauded his commitment and recover and are pleased he is now well and truly at the top of his game.

Queensland’s Archerfield Speedway was the setting for the Ron Wanless Classic, the penultimate round of the POWRi Midget Super Series presented by American Tire and Racing Services .Series leader and current Australian Champion shared the front row with former Champion Nathan Smee .Smee and Clarke again would again be the dominating figures as they diced for the latest bragging rights as they race away to lead the 30 Lap Feature .Although Smee lead for the full 30 laps the completion between Smee and Clarke was quality. As the laps passed New Zealand’s Michael Kendall managed to get by the Aussie Champ into second .At this point Clarke quest for a podium started to come under threat from Matt Greenwood. As they raced to the checker Clarke’s podium chance was lost as Greenwood found the stripe ahead of the Aussie Champ. Greenwood had come from position seven to 3rd and the Queensland Champion Rusty Whittaker again impressed with his 5th position behind Clarke.
The formal 500 Championship of Queensland. The race lost some of its glamour early when two of the early favorites Dave Shilleton and Victorian Dylan Willsher crashed out while in a leading position .

The race had its share of drama, these Title races are keenly contested and the race to the finish between Kaydon Iverson and Kirstin Brown was decided until they crossed the finishing line .Brown tried desperately to get by Iverson but in the end had to settle for second .Brother Charlie had to come from the B main into the Championship feature and race from the back to a solid third position

Valvoline Raceway: Track Championship decided after a powerful win in the A Main by James McFadden from Toby Bell-Bowen and Robbie Farr .The Track Championship in the end went to James Thompson after he finished ahead of challenger Ben Atkinson
