Blistering start for hot summer and POWRi SSS in Gunnedah
According to the Namoi Valley Independent the mercury is rising for what could be a record-breaking weekend in Gunnedah.particularly this evening as the 10th POWRI Speedcar Super Series makes its debut at Barry Tower’s Gunnedah Speedway
Drivers from three States have parked their trailers, set up their pit facilities as they start the challenge of winning the 10th POWRi Speedcar Super Series.
The hot weekend brings together a hot field headed by current Australian Champion Adam Clark and the Defending POWRi SSS Champion Brett Thomas from Queensland
Queenslander Michael Harders fresh from an impressive second to reigning Polar Ice Champion Michael Kendall last week end in Brisbane will be out to continue his early season form.
New South Wales will be represented in the 15 car field by Troy Jordon, Aidan Cornish, Andy Hassan, Glen Shaw, Mitch O’Brien, Jason Bell, Matt Jackson, Paul Murphy and former POWRi SSS Champion Nathan Smee.
Dean Merrylees. has traveled across the country to compete in the Series Making the trip across the boarder from Queensland is Brock Dean and Scott Doyle.
