“Speedcar Super Series 2016-2017 Schedule Secured!

SSS Director Ken Jenkins is pleased to announce the official schedule for the 2016-2017 Speedcar Super Series covering 5 tracks throughout Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia!

“Our goal was to release the calendar as soon as possible so teams could plan and budget over the off-season,” Ken said earlier from his home “We need to keep building on the SSS and finalising the dates this early is beneficial to everyone involved”.

The opening round of the twelfth consecutive season will be held at Queensland’s Archerfield Speedway, followed by Lismore Speedway (NSW), Valvoline Raceway (NSW), Murray Bridge Speedway (SA) and Hi-Tech Oils Speedway (QLD), before returning to Valvoline Raceway (NSW) for the grand finale!

2016-2017 SPEEDCAR SUPER SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP DATES

10 December 2016 – Valvoline Raceway
18 February 2017 – Murray Bridge Speedway

“We have worked very closely with Steven Green in preparation for next season, and am extremely excited that the SSS is returning to South Australia,” Ken stated.

“This round will be more than special as we will race in memory of the racers racer; Tim Crouch. A family man, a highly regarded member of the South Australian Speedcar Association and a racer who was tragically lost in a 2010 road accident. The Tim Crouch Memorial will be a highlight of this seasons SSS”.

In an initiative created by management of Murray Bridge and Toowoomba Speedways, those two rounds of the Speedcar Super Series will race alongside the Late Models series, an idea that can only benefit both divisions.
