World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars rained out at Lernerville
SARVER, Pa. – Sept. 21, 2013 – The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series Commonwealth Clash scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 21, at Lernerville Speedway has been cancelled because of rain that started early in the morning, continued throughout the day and is expected last well into the evening.
The last two Outlaw shows have been rained out and the task for Donny Schatz to retain his Outlaw Title is just that little more difficult.
Seven races now left on the tour for Schatz to pick up the 70 points lead currently held by Daryn Pittman. While certainly not out of Schatz’s grasp. Pittman can grab the title by racing close to Schatz and keeping out of trouble,
Sounds easy but with every other outlaw looking for a win in these last seven rounds anything can happen .The Championship is Pittman’s to loose
World of Outlaws race officials are working with the track management to see if they can reschedule the Commonwealth Clash
The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars will next race on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Fremont (Ohio) Speedway where the Outlaws will be joined by many of the UNOH Circuit of Champion Stars that will include last start Fremont Feature winner Dale Blaney and Tim Shaffer .
The addition of the All Stars and their local track knowledge will ensure some mighty racing .The hurdle for Schatz just keep increasing
