Brad Sweet wins again at Dirtcar National

Just ask Brad Sweet now the dust has settled at Volusia Park in Florida .Two wins out of the three Outlaw show during the Dirtcar Nationals that helped the Razor backed Tools entry take the big gator trophy home to Grass Valley California.
Joey Saldana had his new ride buzzing with the win in the dash to grab the pole spot for the start of the 30 lap a main.Saldana took the early control and lead the field for the first nine laps before Sweet took the Razor Back Tools car into the race lead.
There were early cautions first for Pittman after starting from P3 and on the first lap was introduced to the front wall forcing the #9 into the work area where the Kasey Kahnne team worked their magic and had the front axle change in 2 minutes but another possible race win lost. Shortly after Esh flipped on the front straight and after nine laps Greg Wilson’s race was over when he stopped on front straight and was done for the night.

By half race distance Sweet had build an impressive lead with the razor Back Tools entry looking unbeatable as he chewed up the laps .As the race entered the last stages Lucas Wolfe #1Z started to make ground quickly on Saldana as he struggled to hold the runner ups position .Wolfe seemed to have the measure of the #83 and passed into second .Third place on the podium was not what Saldana had in mind after leading early , the Roths Motorsports Team and Saldana would nevertheless be satisfied getting onto the podium so early in their relationship.
Sweet’s win was so dominating and his two wins and a second from the three Outlaw starts during the Dirtcar Nationals will have the team in good shape as they chase wins. It is a long season that might just be one of the competitive for some time.
