Speedcar Pro Series – POWRi Speedcar Super Series – you decide

No matter if you head West across the Nulabour or North to Sunny Queensland you can expect to see some sensational midget speedcar racing this week end down under . The Carling Speedcar Pro Series heads to Quit Collie Speedway for round 3 of the series on Friday night.and the POWRi Speedcar Super Series hits Archerfiled on Saturday .

Collie is a mining town south of Perth at the junction of the Collie and the Harris rivers. The town dates back to the 1890 when coal was first discovered

Population today is around 7,000 but it is sure to increase as race fans head to the country track, many hoping that 16 year old Kaiden Manders will repeat his Magic Man 34 win from the opening round at Perth’s Motorplex last week end .

Leading Western Australian driver’s lee Redman and defending Pro Series Champ Dyane Kingshott will both be looking to halt the early season form of the young Manders .
Round 4 of the series will move to the Bunbury Quit Speedway on Saturday night November 8

4,400KM way up north in Brisbane is the venue for round 2 of the POWRi Speedcar Super Series . The Archerfield Speedway has attracted the cream of the Eastern States drivers headed by National Champion Adam Clarke in the Polar Ice JBR car and former POWRi SSS Champ and form driver so far in 2014 Nathan Smee in the American Tires and Racing Services Spike .

Making his first appearance for the year at round 2 is another up and coming youngster , Rusty Whittaker in the Whittaker Motorsports Q58 .There are plenty of chances in Feature and the Queensland based teams will want to stamp their authority over the event and keep the invading southerners out of the points .
The defending POWRi SSS Champion Brett Thomas has commitments in Collie with the Pro Series and his place in the field has been taken by Rusty Whittaker in Q58
