.After posting 9th quick time behind Toby Bell-Bowen Veal ran 2nd and 1st in his heats giving him the points to start from pole in the 30 A main and now find himself sitting Sitting just 2 points ahead of Ryan Jones with tougher racing ahead tonight in the massive final
Impressive as runner up Kyle Hirst was there was little the defending Champion from California could do no matter how hard he pressed in the Monte Motorsports /Milwaukee Tool Maxim. Randy Hannagan reminded race fans that age has not affected his race speed an ability to be threat in the final.

The race got off to a devastation start with a massive pile up in turn two involving Mann, Murcott, Bellbowen and Gee from Queensland .The Q41 of Mitchell Gee was the only driver missing from the restart.
Both Jamie Maiolo and US Outlaws Kraige Kinser raised plenty of eyebrows with their efforts particularly Kinser who race from P18 in the B to win the transfer to the A.
