The biggest midget event in the Speedway world The Chili Bowl Nationals just weeks away . The first Chili Bowl National was held in 1987 and in 2013 will still be presented by Emmentt Hahn and Lanny Edwards.

The first race winner in 1987 was Rich Volger . Current Chili Bowl National Champion Kevin Swindell will attempt to win his third successive Bowl in January.
Qualifying start on January 10 and runs nightly to January 13 with the Championship night January 14.
