After a cracking Success in the Pro Speedcar Week series Nathan Smee’s attention is drawn to tonight’s second round of the Diamond Air Speedcar Super Series.
The PSW success in Western and Southern Australia has provided a springboard for Smee, Redmond and Kingshott as they ready themselves for the challenge that will come from a group of heavy footed chargers when racing gets underway later tonight at Brisbane’s Archerfield Speedway. Redmond will be driving Brett Thomas Spike Essingler due to Thomas being sidelined as a result of injuries received when he crashed in the Stadium Truck recently

Smee topped the points at the PSW from US stars Hagen and Brown with Redmond in third .The lack of Americans in the Speedcar Super Series might appear to offer less of a challenge both Smee and Redmond will need to repel many serious challenges throughout the nights racing .The Queenslanders are tough on their home clay and current Australian Champion Adam Clarke and the JBR Team will keen to remind the visitors who is the National Champion.
Smee is entitled to go into this round as favorite on the back of his PSW success and his win in round one of the Series held last month at Hi Tec Speedway Toowoomba.
