Clarke adds the Queensland Title

Brisbane Archerfield Speedway Saturday night and Newcastle’s Deane Contracting mounted Adam Clarke collects the Queensland Speedcar Title . Now with every State Title packed away Clarke clearly is the outstanding Speedcar driver in the country .

Clarke has faced drivers from all states at every track and continues to stamp his class on the field . Great equipment ,luck yes all add to the achievement but there can be no doubting  his class .Challenge after challenge ,driver after driver no matter what track it’s Clarke heading the field ..

Last week in Sydney it was head to head with Mark Brown, the Victorian Title and Travis Mills took the race to Clarke and last night it was Matt Smith putting the Newcastle driver under the pump with an aggressive challenge.

Smith was on fire early in the night with strong wins in the heats and was real quick in the hot laps and qualifying .Clarke and Smith shared the front row of the grid and the pair were terrific as they thrilled fans with their close racing that had the outcome in question until Clarke managed to consolidate his lead on lap 25 of the 30 lap Title Feature.

Smith always looked like he was a  chance but each and every time he forced his way past Clarke his lead was short lived as Clarke would storm back into the pace position .

While not quite able to match Clarke and Smith Brown was untroubled to run in third place.

The chequer was for Clarke followed by Smith and Brown making the 69th Queensland Title a NSW podium clean sweep.

Queensland’s Brendan Palmer and Todd Wanless finished 4th and 5th in the Title. New Zealand’s Michael Kendall had problems in both the hot laps and heats and missed the B Main.

Another great Speedcar Title ends in another great Clarke win!
